Relentless human construction activity triggers geological shifts and fissures in the earth. TITAN 02 Geo-Ecological Lake is an intervention in the landscape, designed to stabilize geological structures while fostering ecological symbiosis.
TITAN 02 Geo-Ecological Lake is a basin measuring 10 meters in depth, over 100 meters in length, and 40 meters in width, currently holding 40,000 cubic meters of water; a steel framework forms the skeletal structure protecting the body of the work. At Vietstar, the construction of this geo-ecological lake is but a fleeting moment. It will soon serve as a solid foundation for a large building to generate electricity from waste. planetBLU preserves that presence across space and time, transforming it into a practice that continuously unfolds and expands.
planetBLU will recreate this world in any requested space, combining the core elements of steel, stone, earth, and water with the very essence of life. The work retains its original scale and suppressed emotions, while seeking the poetry hidden within the indifference toward the memory of self-destruction.
