MOVEs is an ongoing body of work that explores the perception and sensation of movement of objects, matters and workers. Within vast scenes of activity, repetitive actions become micro-movements, making them increasingly difficult to perceive, distinguish, and apprehend.
MOVEs begins as a series of moving-image works that engage with found footage and imagery, tracing the resonance between matter, human bodies, and infrastructure within the labor processes of waste treatment, while singing the poetic pulse of the urban rhythm.
